The WTB Verdict TCS Light High Grip 29 × 2.5 is a redesigned aggressive trail tire focused on improved cornering, stability, and traction in demanding terrain.
The updated tread uses reinforced knob shapes that resist flex under heavy cornering and braking forces, helping the tire maintain consistent contact with the ground. Refined siping reduces knob squirm while increasing grip on wet roots, rocks, and variable trail surfaces.
WTB’s Light casing keeps rotational weight manageable while still conforming to trail features for better control and ride feel. Traction is delivered through the High Grip (HG) compound, using a 45a rubber layer over a firmer 60a supportive base to balance grip and stability under load.
Performance is further enhanced by WTB’s TriTec (TT) triple-compound construction, which combines a durable base with medium center knobs and softer shoulder knobs for optimized rolling efficiency, braking, and cornering traction. For added durability, SG2 puncture protection provides continuous bead-to-bead coverage to help defend against cuts and trail debris.
Built on WTB’s TCS Tubeless Compatible System, the Verdict offers secure bead retention and reliable tubeless performance at lower pressures.
