Constructed from a lightweight, stretchy material, the shorts will wick the moisture away from your legs before it can build up and cause friction-causing damp. The exterior of the shorts is water resistant, so you won’t get a soggy backside when fording multiple streams, or those times you are ill-advisedly caught in a mountain top downpour. The leg length has been cut to hit above the knee, easily accommodating both knee pads and avoiding getting in the way if you are doing a lot of pedaling uphill. The seams are carefully placed to avoid friction when in the saddle, and the moderately loose fit is tailored enough to avoid catching on the saddle. The Velcro waist adjustment makes it possible to get that fit just right, and two zippered hand pockets mean that you can travel light while still carrying essentials.
