Description
2026 Norco Fluid FS Youth 20. The Fluid FS 20 is an aggressive youth trail bike with progressive handling, low standover, youth-tuned suspension and a real dropper post, built for 7–10-year-old riders under 90 lb who want to ride the same demanding trails as the adults.
Key highlights
- Youth-specific full suspension 6061 alloy frame with youth-tuned rear suspension, Ride Aligned™ geometry, and low standover that keeps the bike manageable and confidence-inspiring.
- Built for real trails 20″ wheels, modern slack front end, and aggressive tires give young riders the same control and capability you’d expect from an adult-level trail bike.
- Dropper post, kid-tuned TranzX dropper with Kids Tune lets riders get the saddle out of the way quickly for steep descents and technical features.
- Adult-level quality Holistic design and durable components match Norco’s full-size bikes so the Fluid FS Youth 20 spends more time on trail and less time in the shop.
Suspension & braking
- Manitou JUNIT Sport fork 20″ fork with 120 mm travel and 40 mm offset, tuned for lighter riders to get full use of the suspension.
- X-Fusion 02 Pro R rear shock 170 x 30 mm, A-Tune Soft tune that makes it easy for lighter riders to reach proper sag and use all the travel.
- Tektro HD-J285 brakes Youth-specific 2-piston hydraulic discs with 160 mm rotors and short-reach levers for easy one-finger control.
- Balanced trail chassis Youth-tuned suspension, slack 64° head angle, and 20″ wheels for confident descending and easy maneuvering on tight trails.
Drivetrain & cockpit
- microSHIFT Advent 1×9 Simple, durable 9-speed drivetrain with wide 11–38T cassette keeps shifting easy while offering plenty of climbing range.
- Junior-length crank Prowheel Junior alloy crankset with 28T ring and 127 mm arms sized for shorter legs and better pedal clearance.
- Youth-friendly cockpit Norco 6061 DB alloy bar (660 mm, 20 mm rise) and 35 mm stem give confident steering without feeling stretched.
- Real trail tires Maxxis Minion DHF / DHR II 20″ folding tires with EXO casings provide serious grip and support on loose or technical terrain.
Fit, setup, and recommended upgrades
- We want every rider, local or remote, to get the best performance from their new 2026 Norco Fluid FS Youth 20.
- Local pickup customers: We can set suspension sag, rebound, and tire pressures so the bike is tuned correctly for the rider’s weight and local terrain.
- Shipped bikes: The bike arrives professionally assembled and test ridden. If you need help with suspension or cockpit setup at home, our staff can walk you through the basics or answer questions before the first ride.
- Recommended upgrades: Many riders choose to add pedals, body protection, or cockpit adjustments (grips, bar width, stem length) to match their riding style. If you would like suggestions, we can help you choose options that complement the bike’s geometry and intended use.
