Service / Ownership Context

This replaces your stock thru-axle and remains installed on the bike for ongoing trailer use. Proper torque is critical—install to manufacturer specifications to ensure safe towing. Periodically check tightness, especially when hauling loads.  This is normally used for a bicycle with a rear spacing of 148mm and you can validate the thread pitch which is normally printed on your current axle.
